Kipp Kelly Specific Gravity Separators use air flotation to separate dry bulk material by weight rather than by size or shape. With some components calibrated for suitability to intended usage, they are utilized in the seed and food processing industries for commodities such as grains, beans, and nuts. They are also especially useful in the mining, forestry, and recycling industries for separation of a wide variety of materials. Kipp Kelly Specific Gravity Separators are available in four models ranging from 0.10 tonnes/hr to 4.25 tonnes/hr depending on the type of material.
Air pressure from underneath activates separation, movement of deck transports heavy particles upwards and light particles downward. Weight difference in product mix allows for accurate separation.
These machines separate dry bulk materials by weight rather than size or shape. Gravity separators are utilized in the seed, food, spice, mineral, and recycling industries.
