About Us

A history of innovation, design and manufacturing expertise

Arrow Product Handling Ltd. began in late 1989, started by three former Simon-Day (Carter-Day) employees, Colin LeGrand, Fred Hass and Rick Gergatz. Arrow acted as resale agents for various manufacturers including BM&M, Donaldson and Universal Industries. The three owners wished to control their own destiny by manufacturing and perfecting their own line of processing equipment.

The Kipp-Kelly division provided the design and manufacturing expertise to grow the existing product line from Granulators and Density Separators to other complementary components of seed and grain processing equipment.

Arrow Product Handling Ltd became ArrowCorp and added the Kipp-Kelly Dockage Testers, Kipp-Kelly Thresher/Debearders, Cascade Aspirators and Scalper/Aspirators. ArrowCorp has pursued an aggressive product development course that continues to this day. The newest addition is the New ArrowCorp Pegasus Gravity Table and Orion Air/Screen.

The ArrowCorp company history of Kipp-Kelly, ArrowCorp, and Premier

Kipp-Kelly began in 1913 as a diversified custom manufacturing shop established in downtown Winnipeg, Canada. Kipp-Kelly had a well deserved reputation as a problem solver, so when Quaker Oats approached them with a project regarding the cutting of whole oat groats, they worked together with the customer in developing the Kipp-Kelly Granulator. Those early machines still form the basis of today’s Kipp-Kelly Granulator, manufactured today in its current 1998 Mark IV design, which again was developed in co-operation with The Quaker Oats Company.

The ArrowCorp company history of Kipp-Kelly, ArrowCorp, and Premi

Kipp-Kelly continued to grow and during the 1930s, Kipp-Kelly acquired manufacturing rights for the Triple/S style density separators. Their relationship allowed for equipment manufacturing and sales to any country outside the United States. Kipp-Kelly flourished during the next 40 years, selling and servicing Kipp-Kelly Gravity Tables and Stoners to over 70 countries worldwide, including Russia, China and the United Kingdom. Kipp-Kelly kept growing their manufacturing capabilities, developing a Bakery Line and Material Handling Equipment including their own line of Bucket Elevator, Drag and Screw Conveyors. They acted as resale agents for Clipper, Westrup, and Toyota forklifts. In 1981 Kipp-Kelly was sold to Spirrol, who were involved in the manufacture of concrete extruding equipment, and formed Spirrol Kipp-Kelly. Spirrol Kipp-Kelly ran into financial problems and was forced into bankruptcy protection in 1983. The material handling section, concrete extrusion and bakery division were divided out and sold separately from the Density and Granulator line, which remained with the Kipp-Kelly name. Kipp-Kelly was acquired by the Moolman family, which manufactured Kipp-Kelly products until September 1996 when it was sold to ArrowCorp Inc. of Winnipeg.

Premier Grain Cleaner Company joined with ArrowCorp in December of 2004. Premier is a new manufacturer of Indent Length Separating equipment started in 2004 and is located in New Brighton, Minnesota.
